Natural Tracking Ability

Our hounds possess an innate, unyielding drive to follow scent. We test our dogs' capabilities with United Blood Trackers when testing is available to us. During off season, we lay practice tracks to keep our dogs well practiced. While we have no recoveries, we are listed as trackers and are available to help the public.

Structural Conformation

Our dogs at a minimum are UKC Show Champions. We value the opinion of judges who examine and critique our dogs in the show ring. We also show in AKC FSS and IABCA when available. Our foundation female is a Multi Best In Show winner across all 3 venues, and both of our dogs rank in the UKC Top 10 for breed each year.

Sport Performance

Beyond the show ring, our primary focus is having fun with our dogs through various sports. We currently train, compete and have earned titles in all Lure sports (Precision, FastCat, Dash, Steeplechase, Coursing), Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Weight Pull, Fetch and other temperament testings (ATT, SPOT-ON).

Sound Health

All of our dogs have been health tested above and beyond what most breed clubs would require. We do OFA Hips, Elbows, Patellas, Basic Cardiac, CAER, and DNA through Embark. Additionally, our domestic bred dogs will be ACTH Stim tested prior to breeding.

Stable Family Living

Stable temperament starts in our home. Our dogs are raised with and handled by young children, and cohabit with our Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs, and cats. We expect our dogs to be confident and stable around strangers, and have no issues running our dogs on other handlers or having them examined by judges in high pressure environments.
